Spiritual insight is available everywhere; especially in the least suspected places! While at Home Depot, speaking with a friendly employee, she voluntarily explained that Home Depot is “no longer going to have their security system in the building when you leave”. I inquired to which security system she was referring? She further explained that she was talking about the guard who stands at the door as you leave. She continued, “The cost to (pay for) security is (equal to) the cost of the loss of (stolen) merchandise.” Essentially, she was indicating that the security wasn’t worth the price!
We have been experiencing Jupiter in Scorpio for the last 10 months. It will remain there for two more months and then it will not return for 12 more years! Jupiter is the planet of expanding our lives through new perspectives, knowledge, and philosophies. Scorpio, a water sign and opposite the sign Taurus, is an energy that relates to emotional security in our relationships; our deep feelings which guide us toward truth and fulfillment of our passions. While Jupiter’s in Scorpio, we can experience deep insights which expand our perspective in ways that force us to connect with our deepest desires and transform our lives; letting go of the ‘security systems’ that are not worth the price!
Today, the Moon in Aquarius is square Jupiter in Scorpio until 11:13am (MST). Aquarius Moon responds by wanting to figure out new solutions while Jupiter in Scorpio’s philosophy is to ‘feel’ its way through the dark towards the light. What they have in common is that they are both ‘fixed’ signs; showing determination. At this time, we are being asked to navigate using our deep desires as our guide; becoming vulnerable and knowing when to when ‘let go’. With Jupiter involved, these changes are ultimately positive and will bring transformational personal and collective growth.
Thinking back to my Home Depot visit, it makes me wonder, what in my life am I ‘paying for’ in order to feel secure that isn’t ‘worth the price’? True security lies deep within, knowing what we feel, and is completely free! Scorpio energy will walk away from ‘security’ knowing that self acceptance is our deepest security. We may be doubting our path, second guessing which road to take. Don’t over analyze, feel into it, and continue to move in that direction. The gift of Scorpio is the power to focus our energy on what we desire. A quote from a dear brother, “Each moment we are presented with an unlimited amount of choices. We can choose to continue reliving the same loops or realign our energy and take action, creating change and feeding ourselves with more love.”
The Moon moves Void of Course the remainder of the day/night. Take time to integrate the intensity of the energies over these last few days. The Autumnal Equinox and a strong Full Moon (the Harvest Moon; the first Full Moon after the Equinox) are approaching; bringing continued insight, change and ultimately balance into our lives. We can prepare by taking time to recenter and nourish our inner selves.
Mercury moves into Libra at 9:40pm (MST). Over the next few weeks, we will begin considering how to create harmony, balance, and diplomacy through our communication. The opposite sign to Libra is Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, suggesting that diplomacy does not come at this expense of our own Self. This energy dynamic will play a larger role in the upcoming Full Moon. More on that soon!
