The Moon remains in Gemini and trines Venus in Libra today until 6:03pm (MST). We instinctively respond (the Moon) to the world with curiosity (Gemini); seeing many sides to situations. Expect lots of communication and sharing of ideas as we move throughout our day. Being aware of the Mutable nature of Gemini may help us step back from the need to say everything that is on our mind and give us room to observer the changeable nature of our feelings. With the Moon and Venus in a harmonious angle, we can feel generous, loving and kind. We desire pleasant experiences; sometimes to the extent of not wanting to rock the boat.
The Moon in Gemini sextiles Uranus retrograde in Aries until 10:31pm (MST). This can be an exciting time full of many new ideas which come to us via intuition and insight. Maybe we find new solutions to situations which bring more freedom of expression of the Self. Jim Maynard writes of this time, “Changeable moods help break through inhibiting patterns, bringing the opportunities to evolve – to begin new ways.”
The Moon moves Void of Course in Gemini for the remainder of the night. VOC Moon times allow us to take a break and focus on rest, relaxation, and spiritual re-centering. This is helpful for when the Moon moves into a new sign, we are prepared to receive the intuitive and instinctual messages the Moon always offers.
Neptune moves stationary direct in Pisces at 6:09pm (MST) after 5 months of retrograding. Neptune in Pisces has made us very aware of the fact that we can dream up all kinds of altered realities. Dreams are important, as they offer messages and guidance. Imagination, another realm of Neptune, helps us to create beautiful art. Deep, spiritual contemplation, which Neptune rules, can take us to transcendence heights. But sometimes, the realm of Neptune can take us off track into more unconscious places and the desire for quick transcendence through the use of drugs or alcohol, for example. With Neptune moving direct in Pisces we have the opportunity to begin to ground the dreams we have conjured into reality or to see where some of our Neptunian pursuits may have gotten us off track. The Cosmic Intelligence Agency writes of the Neptune moving direct, in Pisces “As Neptune proceeds to move forward in the sky from now until June 21st, 2019, we are all called to integrate whatever we’ve dreamt about—whether relationship, career, money, or anything else—during its last retrograde period (mid June to late November 2018). That means we can all ask ourselves where we may have set out to save, conquer, or martyr ourselves for the sake of another or others, and/or otherwise sacrifice ourselves for a devotional purpose we felt was bigger than simply our more shallow, mundane, earth-bound world. Now is the time to find a way to make our dreams come true by using sound judgment and rational–rather than fantastical–thinking in order to discern where adjustments now may be necessary to bring some of these wilder, more fantastical thoughts, plans, and dreams to fruition.”
