Good Morning,
Happy Summer Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere :))! The Solstice occurred at 4:07am (MST). Today is the longest day of the year. The Sun’s strength is symbolic of the light of awareness within us expressed as creativity, will and individuality. It’s not too late to create a simple ritual honoring the light within each of us. There are some interesting aspects occurring in the Solstice chart which you can learn more about in my Summer Solstice 2018 video.
Today the Moon remains in Libra. The Moon squares Mercury in Cancer until 2:29pm (MST). Our minds can feel restless today. We want to respond to the world in a way that creates harmony and balance while communicating the deeper feelings within; especially in partnership. We can express what we feel in a diplomatic way if we step back from feeling overly emotional or being indecisive.
The Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn until 7:34pm (MST). This is an energy of intense emotions that can bring restructuring in relationships. Our feelings are powerful and we can connect to the truth of how we feel. Avoid subversive tactics. It’s best to confront things head on in order to transform. We may learn something which changes our course or direction.
The Moon is Void of Course the remainder of the night. Avoid major decisions. Using the Void of Course Moon time to re-center spiritually can help to prepare for when the Moon moves into a new sign.
Venus in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius at 10:54am (MST). The key is finding balance between showing affection in a noble, dignified way verses asserting the Mars in Aquarius energy of individuality. We can become polarized between extremes: demanding in love or rebelling. Stand up for what brings us pleasure while making an effort to accept the other. Don’t be afraid to go for what you want. This can be a very creative time.
Be well!
