Good Morning!
The Sun has moved into the sign of Sagittarius early this morning and remains there for the next month. When the Sun moves into Sagittarius we are connecting our individual will with the principle of expansion through new understanding, wisdom, and moral direction; allowing new possibilities into our lives. Although we may want to move forward in new directions, this time may ask that we patiently await until all of the pieces of the puzzle have been revealed.
The Moon is Void of Course in Taurus most of the day/night. Preceding the Full Moon this evening, it would be wise to take time to spiritually center so that we can navigate the changeable and uncharted waters ahead. If we don’t have a lot of time for those practices during this holiday time, at the very least, do our best to stay clear minded; avoiding over indulging leading to unconscious choices. Major decisions are best avoided during VOC Moon times as judgment may be unrealistic and decisions may take on the directionless energy of the Moon no longer making angular aspects with other planets.
The Full Moon occurs at 0’52” Gemini at 9:10pm (MST). Full Moon times are revelatory in nature; involving the expression of our individuality (Sun) as well as our emotions (Moon). The theme of this Full Moon is receiving and sharing information and using logic while remaining mutable and changeable. If you have personal planets in early degrees of Mutable signs you will feel this Full Moon more strongly. The closest aspect to this Full Moon is the Moon in Gemini opposing Jupiter in Sagittarius, which occurs for the remainder of the night. This aspect symbolizes the need to do our best to balance insight, communicating and new understanding with the integration of how we want the trajectory of our lives to move forward. There is a strong pull to jump on any bandwagon that appears fun, exciting and different. We need to use constraint as we take in all of the options before us. In general, don’t over do it this evening. Adding to this expansive energy is the fact that Mars in Pisces, which can have a hard time seeing clearly but is best at utilizing intuition, is still in a square position to Jupiter in Sagittarius which thrives on the possibility of what could be. Jupiter also symbolizes wisdom, morals and integrity; helping guide us through this time.
Tomorrow will bring many lunar aspects which will continue to change the scenery of our lives while there are many other planetary movements occurring next week highlighting this Mutable theme: Neptune stationing direct in Pisces, Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius squaring Mars in Pisces, the Sun conjunct both Jupiter and Mercury in Sagittarius and Venus, direct in Libra, moving toward her final opposition with Uranus retrograde in Aries; assisting us in finding unexpected clarity and make the changes in relationships that this Full Moon in Gemini time may be revealing. The truth is, things may not be fully clear until after Mercury moves direct at the next New Moon in Sagittarius. Stay focused, malleable and open to all the changes this time brings.
