Finish up all important communication this morning as the Moon sextiles Mercury in Leo until 11:24am (MST); highlighting our ability to passionately communicate.
The Moon in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces until 2:01pm (MST). This time can bring some confusion or illusion related to our ability to respond to the world in a clear way. Gemini and Pisces are both Mutable energies; allowing us to adapt and change but Neptune can create a fogginess which influences our emotional response; potentially causing self deception or a desire to escape reality.
When the Moon moves Void of Course at 2:01pm (MST), it’s important to avoid initiating anything new. It is a good time to continue working on projects that have already begun. It is also a good time to re-center spiritually through meditation, time in nature or resting. Moon VOC times can have a nebulous quality which is helpful for honing our ability to listen to our intuition because the Moon is not being influenced by other planetary energy and we can feel a pure connection to the lunar influence.

This morning at 11:04am (MST) Jupiter is Scorpio is stationing direct at 13’20” and will be at this degree for the remainder of July. Station points are significant because the planet is appearing to slow down and change direction; allowing us to feel the energy more strongly. Jupiter is the principal of expansion, new perspective, wisdom, optimism, ethics and justice (among other things). When moving through the sign of Scorpio, the Jupiter energy is influenced by the desire to look deeply into things that are below the surface in order to transform them. It’s an interesting placement for Jupiter, as Jupiter is more of an outward energy and Scorpio is an inward energy. This is the energy that is responsible for exposing personal and collective ‘shadow’ energy which we have the opportunity to face at this time. As Carl Jung, a famous psychologist who focused on looking at our shadow selves stated, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” We can learn a lot about ourselves at this time, especially if we have planets or chart points in any of the fixed signs at 13 degrees.
