Good Morning!

The Moon remains in Libra today; keeping our instinctive, emotional response focused on finding balance through relating. The Moon in Libra continues to square Pluto in Capricorn until 4:57pm (MST). This energy has been with us since yesterday afternoon, as you may be feeling emotion expressed through intense, perhaps compulsive, feelings bubbling up from the unconscious in relation to the structures we have created in our lives. Moon in Libra needs relationships of all kinds. Pluto in Capricorn transforms our relationship to authority (both collective and personal). Square energy requires action. Astrostyle.com writes, “Your best use of a square is to weigh the pros and cons, get all the conflicts out onto the table, negotiate and COMPROMISE.” Part of finding balance in relationships at this time may involve letting go and moving or recognizing where balance can be found before “throwing the baby out with the bathwater”. Seeing through fear may help navigate this energy.

Tarot.com writes about Pluto in Capricorn, “Stripping away unwieldy and outmoded ambition can challenge us to reconsider our goals, even our most treasured ones. Pluto raises the stakes in whatever game you’re playing, challenging you to increase your commitment or to leave the table. Again, there is a risk of becoming so focused on achieving results that flexibility is lost. It’s hard to keep an open mind in a tunnel, so burrowing through the boundaries of certainty is a healthy counterpoint for balancing Pluto in Capricorn’s excessive determination.”

I find it interesting that over that last few days, under this Moon/Pluto energy, discussion about what the ‘authorities’ define as a planet has revived discussion about Pluto being included as one or not! The question focuses on whether part of the definition of a planet should be its capability of ‘knocking’ other space rocks out of its path as it orbits the Sun. Those who study Astrology know, whether the ‘authorities’ call Pluto a planet or not, when his energy is active in the collective or your personal chart, there is no denying his presence!

The Moon moves Void of Course for the rest of the day/night. This is a time of integration and realignment with our intuitive selves. The less directed energy, while to Moon no loner makes any angular aspects to other planets,  becomes a time to focus our awareness inward. Anything that allows us to connect with that softer, feeling space within us becomes valuable: mediation, walking in nature, resting. When the Moon moves into Scorpio tomorrow, we will feel refreshed and renewed. You will benefit from waiting to initiate anything new as it will take on the nebulousness of the VOC Moon.

Make is a great day!
